SMETS1 Supporting Requirements

A consultation to gather customer views on proposed changes to the SMETS1 Supporting Requirements (S1SR).

The S1SR describes SMETS1 Device behaviour where those behaviours are not aligned to the Great Britain Companion Specification and DCC propose additions to describe as yet undocumented behaviour.

In addition, we propose changes to the S1SR that would allow for configuration changes to me made to specific SMETS1 Devices to resolve issues related to half hourly data and HAN Alerts.

We seek feedback from Parties on these proposals. This consultation closes at 5pm on 7 March 2025. Responses should be sent to consultations@smartdcc.co.uk
